One Meal Swipe = Exactly What?

I am having some confusion of what one meal swipe can get me at UCLA?
Are the meal swipes only for those buffet places?
Can a meal swipe count for like something at panda express or jamba juice?
Also is there a certain time frame to use the meal swipes?

Btw I am 14P and im guessing this gives me 14 meals per week?

Can anyone clear this up for me? Thanks.

you can only use them in the restaurants on the hill, which are the dining halls (de neve, covel, rieber, hedrick… the “buffet places” as you call them) and restaurants (bruincafe, rendezvous, de neve late night, puzzle (now called cafe1919?)) you can’t use them at panda express or jamba juice or any other private vendors

and since you have premier you don’t have to worry about time frame, as long as the restaurant is open you can go and swipe food

You have to use them during that particular quarter, obviously.

Jinsoul, you can get a meal coupon/voucher at your residential front desk in exchange for a meal swipe. You can then use the coupon at food places inside the Ackerman Union building, such as Panda Express, Jamba juice, etc…

They only give you a VERY little amount if you exchange it for a voucher. Definitely not enough for a meal.

I think it’s like two dollars. I tried to get it and not only did the front desk guy never do it before, the cashier at taco bell had never seen it either

One swipe = entry to dining hall
OR
1 menu item, 1 side, and a drink at bruincafe or puzzles
OR
1 menu item and a drink at rendezvous
OR
1 smoothie at bruincafe
OR
1 coffee/tea and pastry at bruincafe
OR
2 pastries at bruincafe
OR
1 breakfast menu item, 1 fruit, and a drink at rendezvous during breakfast

[might be missing a couple of options]

^^^ICE CREAM and frozen yogurt

Thanks so much for all the great information. Now I understand!
