This is common app acitivities short answer question. can anyone edit this? thanks
If someone asked me what is the single most important activity and why, for me, track & Field is it. It means more than just a sport that I am good at. It teaches me the passion and gives me a moment to breath. Track is very simple compare to other team sports. Basically if you run faster, jump further than other athletes, you win. However, you are playing against yourself in track. I love track because it gives me a chance to go beyond myself. I love track because whenever I am on the run-way for a jump, I can just let myself be free from any kind of obscurities that I face. I can just forget about everything and fly. I find it strangely enjoyable as well as rewarding to do so. Through Track, when I engage myself in any kind of activity, not only I always gave my best but I try to reach beyond my limits.

uhmm... you switch from "I" to you, "rewarding to do so" sounds awk, you capitalize track, yet in the beginning u didnt, and the last line "when ..." sounds kinda weird, although i understand what you are trying to say. And i dont think obscurities is the best word for what you are trying to say. As a whole i think its aight, but it seems repetitive and its like "aight u like track adn lets you be free" great. I mean i know space is limited but it seems like the average essay. However if your college choices arent the very selective ones i think you should be fine.

thanks....I changed around alot...do you found it better?

If someone asked me what is the single most important activity and why, for me, Track & Field is it. It teaches me a meaning of responsibility as a team captain, a confidence as a league champion. What is more, Track gives me a chance to go beyond myself, and also a moment to breath. In terms of winning, Track is very straightforward because if I run faster and jump further than others, the trophy is mine. Therefore it is actually more like competing myself. I love Track because it is always fascinating to see how I can reach beyond who I am every time. Also whenever I am up on the Track field, I can just let myself be free from everything and only focus on something that I extremely enjoy. Through Track I learned how to engage myself in any kind of activity, not only how to do my best to reach beyond my limits but believing that human natures are capable of everything and so am I.
