Does Princeton accept people with some APs scored 4? I know this is stupid. but I want to hear from you. thanks.

I’m not a current student, but yes they do. Check out the results thread on this forum.

Yes of course one or two 4s won’t be an issue

I applied after graduating high school and reported all of my AP scores which included a single 3 and (4) 4s. It didn’t hinder my admission (or at least enough for them to pass over me).

I heard that colleges required SAT 1 , SAT 2 , ACT, but do not require AP scores.
Do we have report AP scores to Princeton?

You only need to report AP scores if they are taught at your school and form part of your high school transcript. You also need to report them if you include studying them on your Princeton application and are accepted, even if you self study. We encountered this after my son was accepted. However, a “5” on the test score is not required.

Be careful here…yes…Princeton and its peers do not “require” that you “report” your AP scores to them on the application…but, many high schools have transcripts that automatically include all your AP scores along with many of the State subject exam results attached to your grades (whether you like it or not)…and you can’t ask them NOT to send them…

…so, if you took certain AP classes throughout your 3 years and not report the scores…it will seem odd to Princeton that you left the scores out from the common app when your high school sent them anyways…

…it would be a good idea to find out now whether your high school is one of many in the country that do this…and if they do…better to be honest and report your scores to Princeton yourself than to “appear” trying to hide something…after all, YOU did take those classes…and they would be wondering why you didn’t report them…unless they were “bad”…make sense?

…and yes, Princeton and its peers accept students who get 4s on their AP scores…
