One way streets, bryant drive versus bryant drive east

<p>Just printed up the map from the capstone site and noticed there is a Paul Bryant Drive and a Paul Bryant Drive East. Which of these streets is the conference center on? </p>

<p>Also, since they are demarcated with two different names, does one street run in a different direction than the other?</p>

<p>Sorry for the poor wording of that question, but we do have lots of one way streets in New Orleans, and then some that go one way, then have a sign, Do Not Enter, which is not marked on maps, and then one has to find an alternate route to get to a street that, according to a map, one would think just flows from one street to the other.</p>

<p>Of course, there will also probably be barricades because of the football event, so that will cause a lot of Do Not Enter situations.</p>

<p>If you look at this map (enlarged) and locate the soccer field.</p>

<p>Now look two streets below the soccer field. That’s the Paul Bryant Drive you’ll want to be on. The conference center is on the cornder of PBD and Second Ave. See the larger building above the baseball diamond? That’s it. :)</p>

<p>So, you’ll travel west on McFarland, turn left on either PBD… or continue on McFarland and then turn left on any street like 6th Ave E, Anna Ave, or 2nd St, then turn right onto PBD. The CSD “green” parking areas (I think) are Moody parking lot, a lot west of the baseball diamond, and another lot west of conference center on the corner of PBD and 5th Ave. </p>

<p>Is that what your map is showing? I know these lots are showing as being “reserved,” but I think that means they’re reserved for CSD people and not to be used by Celebration people.</p>

<p>Pooh…the weather report still shows rain and no sunny skies! Friday will be warmer with sunny skies - wouldn’t you know it!!</p>

<p>For visitors going to the stadium - umbrellas are not allowed, so wear a rain hat or a rain poncho.</p>

<p>Bryant Drive is one continuous, two-way street, but it is blocked off in front of the stadium due to construction. Campus Drive East and Campus Drive West are two separate roads however.</p>
