<p>I'm a sophomore next year and will be taking both AP Bio and AP Calc BC. These will be my first AP classes, so I'm pretty nervous. Thus, I thought I'd prepare myself thouroughly over the summer for these courses. I wanted to take some online classes. I know there are many websites for these such as edX. However, I didn't find anything that I felt would be equivalent to a college level course of Biology or Calculus. Can someone give me suggestions of any classes they've taken for these, or post any links for classes they've found on these topics? Also, if you have used any books to self-study these courses ahead of time, could you please suggest them to me if you've found them helpful? </p>
<p>If you’re already going to be taking the AP classes, you shouldn’t worry about taking a full online Biology or Calculus class over the summer. If anything, I would recommend buying an AP review book to get a first look at the material ahead of time. For AP Biology, I know that 5 Steps to a 5 is a good book, but I’ve also had good experiences with Princeton Review books. Honestly, it comes down to what kind of a format you’re most comfortable with when you study, so I would look through the choices at a Barnes and Noble. </p>
