I was wanting to get my undergraduate’s degree online due to some family situations (nothing bad). I was wanting to get this degree in political science or psychology later going on to law school. I also have a passion in acting and production and would love to go into acting/directing. I was wondering what the best thing to do for this situation. Can you go to school online for a couple years then transfer to the actual school? Or would I have to start out at the main school. Can I go online at one school and easily transfer to a closer physical college? Are there any other solutions?
You might just consider keeping them totally separate and take some local acting classes or work your acting via Skype…
Most BFAs require you to spend 4 years at the school. But if you start online, and maybe keep doing community theater or acting classes locally, you may well be able to transfer to a school where you can take theater classes.
