I am currently a Psychology major at a University of Texas branch(UT Dallas) and I was planning on finishing the Psych degree and then find either a masters or bachelors program for Healthcare Administration but now I am considering just switching to a bachelors now rather than wait.
Unfortunately there are no bachelor programs for healthcare admin/management locally or even a commutable distance but Texas Tech offers a Clinical Services Management online bachelors degree(and masters) through their Health Sciences Center. The degree sounds perfect for me but I worry about finding a job with an online degree and whether or not an online program will prepare me properly for a job within that field. I emailed them asking whether or not they designate the degree “online” on the diploma or not but either way Texas Tech is a big school in Texas with a good reputation but I worry about online degrees in the “getting a job” and “being prepared for a job” areas.
I’d appreciate any advice or knowledge you can provide me. Here is a link tot the program: [Texas</a> Tech University Health Sciences Center :: SAHS : Clinical Services Management](<a href=“http://www.ttuhsc.edu/sah/cssm/]Texas”>http://www.ttuhsc.edu/sah/cssm/)
