I'm registered to take USC's online pre-organic chemistry course (I think it's CHEM 221) and yesterday my parents looked at the bill and found out it was $3000. It seems like way too much for a pass/no pass course that doesn't carry any credit with it. The thing is, my parents can barely afford it right now (I'm a twin so they're paying two tuitions at once). However they said they will stretch and pay it if the course will be helpful.

Has anyone here taken this course? If so, it is helpful and did you find that it helped you do significantly better in O Chem than you would have if you wouldn't have taken the course? It would be greatly appreciated if I can get an input within the next day because my parents have to make the payment on Thursday. Thanks for any help!
