<p>Hey guys, for those of you who mailed in Part I (or other things), how long did it take for the online tracking system to verify that MIT received it? I'm guessing with the amount of apps they get, it'll take ~2 weeks? Maybe more?</p>

<p>Actually it is highly variable depending on volume. Last year the answer was a day or two up to two weeks or more near the deadline.</p>
<p>Wait, I mean if you mail the parts in, not if you submit them via the online system. Or does it only track online submitted material?</p>
<p>Ahhh, nevermind, I found the answer in the app:
"If you don’t have an online account and/or you
submit your Part 1 on paper, we will send you
a letter (once Part 1 is received) with instructions
on how to access your application status
on our website."</p>
<p>"processing of paper forms
may take up to two weeks during peak periods."</p>
<p>At least I was pretty close in my estimation!</p>
<p>My Part I took two business days, but I submitted it online.</p>
