^care to elaborate and enlighten please?

some (not all) freshmen enter under the pretense that college is just like going into 13th grade, or something - if they were able to succeed in high school (or even breeze through), won’t college be just the same?

but then they often don’t do quite so well, or otherwise overstress / overburden themselves, and end up being quite sad.

there’s nothing wrong with shooting for the stars, but please keep in mind that the successful balance of academics, social life, extracurriculars, weight, and sleep can be a most daunting challenge at a place like penn.

yeah so I contacted my advisor and she said she would let me take 5 courses but the problem is that even though she would let me, she can’t because of the computing algorithm which only allows students to take 4.5 credits… what should i do?? is there anyone else I should contact who can raise my credit limit??

The college office should have the ability to raise the courseload[I just had mine raised, going into junior year]. That is the only place they can do it[to my knowledge].
