Did anyone else get an email yesterday congratulating them on their acceptance to U of I? Bet those went out by mistake.

Wow, this forum is so quiet. Isn’t everyone excited that U of Illinois’s decision is coming out in a week?

@Tamiami: acceptance letters? Ah, wish I got one, even if it was sent out by mistake…

a lot of people already heard from priority i think

Yeah if you applied by Nov 1st then you have already heard back.

Yes, a friend of mine applied priority and heard back in December, I believe.

This wasn’t a priority application. The release date was supposed to be Feb. 19.

^there wasn’t?? I thought that if you completed your application before Nov 1st, you should’ve gotten a decision back by December 11th (unless if you’re deferred).

But anyway, good luck everyone on the 19th!

What department was the letter from Tam? Posting a bit of the text would be nice. Who signed it?

tamiami… if you applied before nov 1, that was indeed the priority decision period. i heard back on dec 11. the feb 19 date is the regular decision release. don’t tell me i’m wrong when i’m right ;)

I think einstein mentioned Early Priority as a response as to why the forum wasn’t abuzz with an acceptance email going out early.

einstein. The application date was indeed Jan. 1, therefore not priority. Someone jumped the gun in ACES.
