OOS chances at Northwestern, BU, etc.

I live in PA so I'm out oos for all but PSU, which I already got into

I have a 4.2 GPA - mostly honors classes and a few AP's including AP music III
I'm in the top 10% of my graduating class and have been on honor roll every semester save the first one in freshman year due to Algebra 2H.

I got a 2090 cumulative SAT I
-700 CR
-680 Math
-710 Writing

And SAT II
-700 math I
-660 math II
(averages out to a 680, go figure...)

EC's
I'm co captian of my schools JV ultimate frisbee team
I've been a boy scout since 5th grade with numerous leadership jobs. Also, I'm going for eagle scout very shortly.
I'm in NHS, Active in my church, and have logged 200+ community service hours through scouting
I also worked full time residential construction over the summer.

I know I don't have that many EC's but the ones I do have take up most of my time.

So I was just wondering what my chances are, applying undecided:
I figure I've got a ok shot at UMD college park, and a decent one at Udel - those two I'm not as concerned with as the following:

I'm also applying to Northwestern, Bucknell, William and Mary, and BU (all RD): those I'm not too sure about.

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas or guesses as to what my chances might be. I'm already in at Penn State University Park but I really don't want to go there unless I absolutely have to.

please.

bump.

You will get into BU!

chance me :)

I hope I do. anyone have any opinions on the others?

What's your unweighted GPA?

Generally speaking,
I'd say YES to md, del, bucknell, bu, pennstate
MAYBE to W+M
and UNLIKELY to northwestern

northwestern is such a crapshoot for anyone but your ECs don't exactly stand out in a crowd.

good luck, though

that's pretty much what I figured.
However, my family has a pretty big legacy at W&M so I don't know how much influence that will have.

unfortunately I dont have a clue what my unweighted GPA is. My school only gives out weighted if I had to guess, I'd say it'd be between 3.6-3.8

any more please?

northwestern and william and wary will be slight reaches.
But apply, you at least have a chance.
BU seems like a good match for you.

"I'm already in at Penn State University Park but I really don't want to go there unless I absolutely have to." Well, Penn State UP is harder to get into than BU, so If you got into PSU you will get in there. I think you're in at W & M and waitlisted at Northwestern.

^^that's really interesting. I never knew that. Especially considering the fact that some girl in my class with a 4.9w GPA is complaining that two other kids in my class applied to BU and she won't get in because our SAT scores are higher than hers. I think she needs to calm down.

yeah, I go to Penn State University Park and three kids that live with me all got in there. haha I know not that is not a completely representative sample, but they were saying that when they were thereon the tour/applying the admission standards being discussed seemed easier than PSU. Best of luck.

any more opinions?

please. even just one more.

I'd say in at BU, Bucknell, and William and Mary.
Reach at Northwestern.

i'll just hope for the best then. I'm not really that prone to stress, I just wanted to get an idea. thanks everyone
