I'm in one of the most, if not the most, competitive public school districts in North Carolina </p>

<p>I'm a rising senior and my current unweighted gpa = 3.53 weighted=3.89
SAT: 1810 (planning to take it again in October)
SAT Subject Tests: Taking in November
My current class rank is 29/166
White Female</p>

<p>Next year I'm planning to take AP Comparitive Government, AP Human Geography, AP English Lit, and a french class at UNC-CH</p>

<p>You are probably in. Your class rank is especially good. The only advice I would give you is try to get your SAT score up, just to be safe. :)</p>

<p>For oos students like us, it’s not so much a question of will I get in, but more a question of are you sitting on a gold mine. I was accepted from Minnesota this spring. UCSB was my dream school as it seems for you. However, spending OVER $200,000 for a college education doesn’t seem smart. And that would be if costs DID NOT rise at all in the next four years, which would never happen. Maybe you pay that for Harvard or some Ivy League preppy schools but not a public UC. That’s my opinion. By the way, I’ll be going to University of Wisconsin-Madison; same level of education with for half the price!</p>
