OOS Chances?!

I from FL and at the end of my junior year I had a 3.06 UW and a 3.927 weighted(mostly honors and six APs), I took the SAT in May 2009 and I got a 1640(590 CR, 560 M, 490 W) What are the chances of me getting into Texas at Austin? I recently found out that I was commended as a National Achievement scholar. I was involved in many clubs including 5000 role models and Young republicans.

I’m not sure how UT treats URM applicants.

What is your class rank?

Not to discourage you, but your gpa is in the so-so area. School profile will mean a lot. Especially considering that your “Weighting” system seems quite high. But to be honest, your SAT scores need work. Non of us are you admittance counselor, but I would say that it isn’t the best resume. The fact that you’re OOS, could actually help. Although, with those scores, you’d have a better chance if you were from an under-represented area such as Maine, Vermont, Montana, etc… Good luck to you. Retake the SAT if you can.
