OOS Comp. Sci. chances?

I’m from the southeast and was wondering if I have a reasonable chance of getting in. I have to declare my ROTC scholarship soon and it’s tough to pick a school that I want to go to AND I have a good chance of getting in.

UW GPA - 95
SAT single sitting - 1410 (670 EBRW / 740 M / 16 essay)
Essays- 7-8/10 probably

I’ve been a part of 4 clubs, secretary of one and an NHS member.
I have very little comp. sci. experience outside of the class I’ve been taking for 2 years now, but I have been very politically active (internship in DC with a congressman, 2 years of political campaigns, volunteering with a political party, Girls State) and I’ve been successful in sports (school state champion 1x runner up 2x and club sports runner up 1x). Not that these probably matter…

What are my chances for CS at UCSB?

Have you tried figuring out your UC capped weighted GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
OOS applicants only get extra honors points for AP and IB classes taken 10-11th grades.

SAT subject tests? HS course rigor?

Can you afford $65K/year to attend with no financial aid?

CS will probably be the most competitive and difficult admit at UCSB. You want stats above the averages.

2018 UC capped weighted GPA averages:
UCSB: 4.13

2018 Data:
25th - 75th percentiles for SAT:
