OOS don't give up hope...Mich Tradition Scholarship Received Today

i know you bd16425, it just took a little bit of thinking to find out who you were at first, nick

anyways
my essay was about how from being leader of robotics club i found that everyone works in different ways and sees different parts of the puzzle, and has differing strengths and weaknesses. so more like intellectual diversity

also another kid at WHS other than me and bd got it as well, so that’s 3 for WHS and 4 for omaha area so far…

nata123: just curious…where are you from? To all those that received this scholarship…remember that it was first based on your academic performance…and since I do remember a few of your stats…I do recall that that most of you fall in the academic upper tier of OOS applicants and should feel very proud of your accomplishments. Congrats…well deserved indeed.

littlefalls, a big congratulations to your son. If you remember you had commented on one of my posts because my son had accepted a scholarship to Michigan engineering and he wasn’t sure if he would be attending yet or not. I’m really happy it all worked out for you!! I hope our kids are classmates.

littlefalls: Oklahoma

crl123: Thank you for your congrats!! We are still flying high! Has your s decided on Michigan yet?? What type of engineering is he interested in? Keep us posted. Any chance he is into band?

nata123: There aren’t as many OOS scholarships offered unless you have very specific circumstances like single family homes, first generation college student etc. There are some that you needed to apply for within your specific major that had a higher $$ value, but they only go to very few candidates. Bottom line: You should be thrilled about receiving the Tradition for OOS. Congrats: Oklahoma & Nebraska rock!!
