OOS or what?

<p>I’m confused about my status… (stupid I know, lol). I’m an American living abroad, but I was born in California (lived there 10 years). I know I don’t meet requirements for instate tuition, so does that mean I get considered in the more selective OOS applicant pool?</p>

<p>For around 7 years. It'd be strange if I were considered OOS or international though... In any case, is the international applicant pool less selective?</p>
