I am an out of state applicant.
Received email last night to log into my SIS (I never received any SIS info) to receive decision on my in state decision.
I never asked for in state and clearly applied as out of state
Don’t worry about it. It was a generic email that went out to a ton of applicants whose documents were being processed.
You don’t need a SIS account. That’s old language. We use the portal now. I put up a blog post showing exactly where you can see your residency status in the portal: http://uvaapplication.blogspot.com/2018/11/good-bye-sis-hello-uva-portal.html
I called UVA Admissions today, and they said that the email was sent out by mistake. They said just to disregard it.
I am admission.
