Could someone please chance me? I am OOS from Arizona.

Stats
-23 y/o (will be 24 when I actually started classes)
-My HS GPA is low, 2.75. I graduated in 2006. Did not take SAT/ACT.

-Took time off. Started at ASU part time in Summer 2010. Went part time until now to decide what I wanted to go to school for. Will be going FT this year, hoping to xfer to William and Mary for Fall 2012.

-ASU GPA: 3.8 (could be 3.9 after this year)

-Will be considered OOS.

-I will have most of my general ed classes done (will need another year of foreign language though, and 1 calculus class).

-I did a dual-enrollment program while in HS. I didn't do that great in it and I have 2-3 Ws and 1 F in a French class from my sophomore year of HS (2004). This was over 5 years ago though, hopefully it will not hurt me too badly?

WHAT I WANT TO APPLY FOR
I'm interested in applying for the 5-year BA/MAT program in teacher education. I would like to double major in History and Biology so that I can be certified to teach Biology and Social Studies to high school students. I am finding that I truly love learning, reading, and my academics.

Also, I am taking a full load this semester (fall 2011) and next semester (spring 2012) in preparation of transferring.

Fall courses:
BIO 100 - The Living World (haven't taken any college-level sciences)
FRE 101 - Intro French
MAT 170 - Precalculus
REL 100 - Religions of the World
HST 103 - Western Civilization

Tentative spring courses:
CHM 101 - Introductory Chemistry
FRE 101 - Intro French
MAT 226 - Statistics
Literature course
Non-western perspectives course

I was working FT the past year at ASU, which is part of the reason I was only going part time. I found part-time employment now so that I'm able to focus more on my academics and am able to take a full course load.

Also, would it be better for me to take more advanced (300 level?) classes for the history and religion courses? I am in a 300-level Gender, Science, and Technology accelerated summer class right now, and am enjoying it very much and can handle the reading/writing load just fine. I just was worried that too many 300-level classes might look funny to the adcom, but then I also thought at the same time, it would show my academic aptitude and desire for a challenging academic and liberal arts curriculum. Any advice?
