<p>How hard is it to get an out of state tuition waiver ? If you have received one from A&M would that help to get one at UT? Do they automatically consider all OOS applicants or do you need to apply for it?</p>
<p>They are extremely competitive according to the financial aid office. Each college within UT gets a handful to give out to students (freshman and upper classmen ). There is a separate application due in April that requires a teacher recommendation (or two).</p>

<p>Each college has their own waiver application. Google UT college of ______ out of state waiver and you should be able to find a link to their application. I had to email to find out about the process for Freshman applicants.</p>
