Hey guys,

I got accepted to Texas A&M but I need an out of state tuition waiver. Does TAMU give out these to international students? My stats are decent. I was an Auto Admit (1370 CR+M). How are the chances?

Anyone?

Bump

You could call the Financial Aid office and ask them.

https://scholarships.tamu.edu/Libraries/Documents/ScholarshipHandbook0910.sflb says

“Out-of-State Tuition Waivers
Non-Texas residents receiving scholarships administered by Texas A&M University, including Honors Programs, of at least $1,000 per fiscal year pay tuition at the in-state level. This is reflected on the fee statement as a credit for the difference between out-of-state tuition and in-state tuition. These waivers are automatically renewed each academic year (i.e. September 1, 2009-August 31, 2010) as long as the student is in good scholarship standing. If the student is suspended from the scholarship in subsequent years, a tuition waiver is not granted, and the University will charge out-of-state tuition.”

I would assume if you have $1,000 scholarship you will get the waiver, but I could be wrong.

Hey DesiDreams its been about a year since you made this post. So did you received OOS Waiver? My SAT is also 1360 similar to that of yours…
