<p>With OOS tuition at over $20,000, how can a non-rich California resident afford to go to UDub? I really want to go, but it is so unrealistic. Anybody have any suggestions on how they did it or how they advise others?</p>
<p>I'm in the same boat as you. California resident, nowhere close to being able to afford that without serious help, but with a huge desire to attend UW.</p>
<p>You guys have some of the best public schools in the country that you can attend for about a third of the price. I think schools like Cal and UCLA are easily as good as the UW (well, except maybe in medicine). Why even bother considering the UW? Just curious.</p>
