<p>I just wanted to know how important open houses are. I was recently invited ot a multicultural open house for minorities at columbia. I RSVP'd but couldnt make it due to a funeral I had to attend. I've already visited the campus several times and written my name down at the visitor's office. Is attending these open houses important? I'm already going to apply ED by the way, but I just hope it doesnt look bad that i RSVP'd and didnt show.</p>
<p>I don't think it'll matter a bit. They use those lists mainly to determine how much food to provide and to print out nametags.</p>
