<p>At PH, you just wave the side of the ID card with your picture on it in front of the black thing next to the door, wait a bit, then the light turns green and the door unlocks.</p>
<p>how do you activate the card? People have been talking about that</p>
<p>Card activation office is located within the RSO at Pentland (building Q) They should be there between 9-5pm, with lunch at 1 i think. Once you get your card “carded,” you have to return your building key i believe.</p>

<p>Tracenoxus- that’s for east lo right? can’t you just scan your wallet with the id card in it or do I have to take it out?</p>
<p>you can do it for all of them. i usually take my card out but you can use it in your wallet thing too</p>
