Opinion about Test Scores

SAT: 690 CR 650M 610W
SAT II: 740 US 700 Chem
ACT: 31 Composite, 29 Eng,33M,33R,28S. I haven't received my writing yet.
AP Scores: 3 Chem,4 World, 4 US, 5 US Gov, 5 Env Sci, 5 Eng Lang

Cornell(or any other competitive school) is a far reach for me. Are my test scores..alright? I believe my ACT is a bit higher, but I'm not truly sure. Cornell only looks at the CR+M correct? Would it be wiser to send my ACT or SAT?

Thank you in advance.

bump 10 char.

Yes your ACT equivalent is about 40 points higher than your SAT.

“Cornell only looks at the CR+M correct?”

Adcoms are human - they will take into account your writing

^
Oh I just assumed, because collegeboard does not mention that Cornell takes writing into account. Thanks for the info guys.

What misterpresident meant is that even though Cornell officially only considers your CR and M scores, adcoms will still see your writing score on your score report, which can inadvertently affect their judgment.
