Opinion of schools for film please?

So I must make my college decision this week. I've been accepted into 5 schools:
SVA
SUNY Purchase
Drexel U
University Of the Arts in Philadelphia
Long Island U: CW Post

Film is going to be my major, except for Purchase, where I got into Cinema Studies instead. My family urges me to not make a decision based on money, and I'm unconcerned about dorming or not. I was wondering, could anyone give me some feedback based on the film (or cinema studies) programs at this school, the environments, etc? Thank you guys =)

Can’t really help here, except for general advice. If you are really interested in film production then forget the Cinema Studies. Otherwise, go where you have the opportunity to get the most experience (making lots of student films and participating on others’ films) and where you perceive the graduates making it in the industry (you’ll need the connections provided by your upperclassmen as they graduate and move into the industry).

Thanks  Yeah, I struck SUNY Purchase out. I think I’m going with SVA
