Opinions and advice from current case students

Ok, so I went to the open house at case. I didn't expect to like Case too much, but I ended up loving it. Really liked the food and the greek system, ppl were really nice, lots of clubs and organizations...etc plus the whole thing about how Case has the ugliest students turned out to be largely a myth. Moreover I Loved the study abroad program and the fact that most professors actually care about their students.

However, I would still like more info...I got the impression that the classes at Case are actually really intense and its really hard to get a good gpa there. Moreover, although I really didn't find anything particularly lacking about the social life(as ppl may claim), I would still like more info. Can any current Case students tell some personal stories or opinions on some of the things I adressed? Thanks! :P

I know that this is probably like a really overstated question thorughout the threads but oh well…

One of my “fears” about attending CWRU was its reputation for a large workload (competing with MIT). Really, when I came here I learned it’s truly all about time management. You do get a lot of work, but it’s manageable. The workload is impossible only if you procrastinate to the last minute. When it comes to getting a good GPA, it’s all based on your own effort. I’ve met a substantial amount of students with a 3.8+GPA, so it’s attainable to have a high academic standing. Just stay focused and manage your time well and you’ll do fine.
