Opinions on taking AP Statistics online?

After several months of deciding what classes to take, I have reached a conclusion of taking Spanish 4 next year so that I can take AP Spanish Language in senior year. I personally think this is a wise decision because it is a core class. However, I have always wanted to take AP Statistics and AP Psychology because I am interested in those topics, unlike Spanish.

Many people I have spoken to have different opinions on whether I should have chosen Stats and Psych or Spanish. I am kind of going against doing what I am truly interested in so that I can take Spanish because my counselor said, “it looks good on your transcript to have four/five years of foreign langauge.” A downside of choosing spanish is that I will only be taking 4 AP in junior year, while about 20% of my grade is taking 5 AP courses, so when compared, my schedule looks less rigorous.

To get back on topic, I was thinking of taking AP Statistics online because it is a lot easier to take online than Psychology. Also, I am actually motivated to learn about the subject because I find it interesting.

Other than Spanish, I am taking four other AP courses and Orchestra. I am thinking of pursuing something around science and medicine, but I am not sure yet.

I think taking AP Stats and/or AP Psych online is fine. Personally speaking, you might be better off taking either class at a community college, since both classes are 1 semester classes and not the whole year as is the case if you take AP.
