hey anybody have any thoughts on transferring? i know its really competitive. i am from texas, but i goto school out of state. I've heard the average is like a 3.6. i have a 3.5 at my school, but since UT doesnt count +/-, its going to change to like a 3.38. I'm just trying to get in to liberal arts econ, my 2nd choice is natural sciences undeclared. i think my essays were pretty good, i'm a pretty good writer (so ive been told). i know the only logical answer is to bust my ass this semester and raise my GPA as much as possible, but if anybody has an opinion on this or any other advice id appreciate it. thanks, have a nice day.

What did you get in your econ. and math classes?

An A last semester in business calculus, im in stats right now, so hopefully an A as well. I havent taken any econ classes.

In fact, I had 3 As,
a B+ in history,
a C+ in geology and a B+ in the lab that went along with it. i have no interest in science at all, i was just required to take at least one science. that C is the only thing bringing my grades down, plus the fact that all my grades that werent As were all +s, UT doesnt count the +s so that brought it down even further

Im only saying this because i want to major in econ, and geology has nothing to do with econ, so im just wondering if that might help bc i messed up on something im not going to pursue any further anyway
