Opinions Wanted

Hi so I want to double major in social psychology and neuroscience and minor in East Asian studies and I was wondering would that be easy/difficult and what school would you recommend I apply to that are good for those fields. Basically your opinion on it would be really helpful thanks!

double major + minor isn’t very likely but it’s possible as long as many requirements overlap and all majors are in the same school/college (if you’re in a large university with several schools/colleges - the problem doesn’t apply to liberal arts colleges where all majors are part of the same colleges).
Rather than double major + 1 minor, you can always take 10 classes in psychology, 8 classes in neuroscience (or the reverse), and a handful of classes that interest you most in East Asian Studies.

Look for quarter system colleges, it allows you to take more classes than a semester system, that might help. Just expect to not be able to take any electives outside your areas of interest and expect to work very hard!

While quarter system colleges may let you take more courses, they may also require more courses to complete a major. For example, suppose a given major at a semester system school requires 14 courses (out of a total of 32). The same major at a quarter system school may require 21 courses (out of a total of 48).
