Does anyone know what track would be best for this. I don't know if CMU is quite a target for being recruited, but it should at least be a semi-target. Do the BBs(Goldman Sachs, merrill lynch etc.) ever come to campus?

[Carnegie Mellon University: Undergraduate Profile ? BusinessWeek](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?)

I don’t like BW’s rankings, but I am a fan of this list. And looks like Goldman is on the list of “mode” companies fist pump

What I don’t understand is why people would choose Tepper over Stern. Stern is much easier to get into than Tepper is, and it is much easier to get an internship from Stern to the top investment banking firms i.e. Goldman Sachs. Carnegie Mellon’s tuition is also higher than that of NYU.

I’m pretty sure that Stern is harder to get into then Tepper. Not everyone goes to business school for finance and investment banking firms.

What’s the difference between econ+math at HSS and econ/math at Tepper for undergraduate?

CMU’s financial aid is better. Stern and Tepper are great, but the location does factor for certain opportunities like internships.
