What are your thoughts on "the most influential woman on earth", the richest African American of the 20th century, the television host, producer, actress, and philanthropist?

Eh. I don’t really care for her at all lol. My mom used to watch her show all the time though.

We got some haters her! Even though I don’t watch her show I like her I think her works are noble and awesome

She is a great women. She has more power than the Queen of England. So seems like a women many girls would idolize.

Can’t believe she’s getting her own TV Network.

^ Same here.

I’ve never seen an episode of her show, but it seems like she’s awesome. All the stuff she does for people who watch her, her philanthropy. Her book club also chooses very interesting books, which I mostly try to follow. It’s hard to gain credibility like hers doing a TV show, and now she’s “more powerful than the Queen of England,” (as if the queen was powerful at all…)

As great of a person she appears to be on television, apparently it’s all an act - according to her employees. Read about it in a magazine article that talks about how “totalitarian” she is and almost abusive towards her employees. It gave several examples, one in which an employee hung his arm over her shoulder as a friendly gesture and got fired the next day, and another in which she yelled at and fired a secretary because she forgot to refill her candy jar. As they described her, she is like an outcast and wants to be friends with the famous and rich people by sucking up to them and acting nice around them.

I find her unpleasant.

She does great things, but I hate the way she lets everyone know that she’s doing great things.

she rocks. better than the queen of england and the rotten prince charles /camilla anyway.

She thinks that she can do whatever she wants.

She wants to interview this criminal lady from South Carolina and South Carolina keeps telling her no, but she doesn’t seem to get the message.

And she took away Discovery Health… which is the only channel my mom watched in expanded cable, and so now my mom’s thinking about getting rid of it.

I’m not a fan for my own selfish reasons. =/

^lol that’s a hilarious reason to resent Oprah

^I know.

10 char.

I love how her network is called “OWN” it is so perfectly fitting haha

^^^^■■■■■, I’m mad as hell about Discovery Health too. Oprah seems ok. I don’t really have an opinion on her. My mom really likes her.

Listen, she took away Discovery Health. Nothing relaxed me more after a hard day of work at school than watching an Indian child have his/her 19 extra limbs removed. Clearly, Oprah doesn’t care about my life or my education in parasitic twin amputations. This makes her the anti-Christ.

Anyway, not quite a fan. She doesn’t have a likeable personality as far as I’ve seen. Her voice is slightly irritating. She’s all hyped up, and I don’t see why.

“Clearly, Oprah doesn’t care about my life or my education in parasitic twin amputations. This makes her the anti-Christ.”

Seems like solid logic, I concur
