I received a letter about the ASUC linen program and it says that they deliver the bedding packages to your home, but is there any way I can get it delivered to the school instead? My parents live in Korea so I have no where to have them sent. Does anyone have any experience with this? It would be very convenient for me to order the package :/ Help!

overpriced, not great quality. US chain stores like Bed, Bath and Beyond, Walmart, Target all have better bedding values and they could deliver to the school.

The big issue is that you can’t have any packages or mail sent until move-in day, and then it may take 1-2 days for the boxes to actually get to the counter for pickup - during those days you would not have the linen. If you do this, bring one set of sheets one or two towels with you for move-in, then have the rest bought for delivery to your dorm after you move in.

Plus, normal bedding should work fine, right? The ad stated that the beds needed extra-long bed sheets…

Extra-long sheets are what is needed for a good fit, but if you don’t really care I guess you could use normal bedding.

I’ve just gotten stuff at Bed Bath and Beyond.

most places like bed bath and beyond carry plenty of the linen designed for the bed size, no need to go with normal length.

Go to any store and look for “Twin XL”

Sure, normal bedding will kinda work when it comes to flat sheets, but you’ll want Twin XL. Those “ASUC bedding” adverts really badly exaggerate the situation.

In reality, it’s: Twin XL is available in several places; they just tend to only come on low-end product lines and with less selection.

all right, thanks!
