Well, the official order to report arrived for my son today via Fed Ex! Lots of questions are addresed in this package!!!

Orders arrived in Charlotte, NC today as well. ( woo-hoo ) !

Also got the medical forms....something tells me this is just the beginning of all the forms to be filled out......and my son thought it was over after the long and involved application process LOL! :) BTW, called Patton Hall and confirmed that the candidates DO NOT have to have the Hep A shots prior to Indoc. They will administer them.

As did they in Cumming, GA.

Orders in as well. Also talked to Patten. Note the Tdap requirement is different than the DT from last year. He has had the DT booster but they requested we get the Tdap for him prior to arrival.

I remember thinking the same thing, getting all that finished was much worse than the application process. Our biggest problem was getting ink fingerprints, all the police depts had converted to some other method. Do they still want those? It was real crazy for a few weeks getting it all together.

Yikes have not looked at that requirement (or seen it)...but we are in Coast Guard Aux here and I know one of our guys does fingerprints...also son is in Criminal Justice class this semester so maybe he can get the finger prints squared away there, if necessary!

I think we ended up getting a recruiting office to do it for us, was a pain at the time. Seemed like we were always a "day late and a dollar short" so to speak.

My son had his finger prints done at a Mailboxes-etc store. UPS just bought them out recently. (do they have Mailboxes-etc outside California?). I believe any Notary Public can do them too.

Sheriff's office or police station are happy to do fingerprints for you (no joke!), just call ahead to see if they have a preferred time.

Got mine in today as well.

Filling out these forms (and others) is really getting to be a pain in the neck.

One question. I asks for my complete high school transcript. I graduated in '05, so is that OK? Should is send in my lackluster college transcript from this semester? (My calculus grade was something of a wash)

Most police/sheriff offices have a specific time for fingerprints - or, you can visit your local prison :)

Our police/sheriff offices were all happy to help, only they had switched to a new inkless system and at that time the academy was requiring the messier ink ones, could be they have changed the requirement.

you also might want to check on the Wisdom Teeth removal aspect. That snuck up on us and kind of ruined prom...

Last I remember, they (KP) required that either your Wisdom Teeth be removed or you have a note from an oral surgeon stating that they didn't need to be removed...

so i wasn't the only one who had their teeth out right before prom?

haha - is2day looked like a chipmunk :)

i was lucky and didnt swell up at all, but it was still way closer to prom than i wanted it to be

Good idea for the extraction, our son had his removed 3 weeks prior. It was a pain but we were thankful to have it done when we did. once Idoc starts, there will be little or no time to have it done later. Best of luck to all of you and God bless you and your families.

The medical packet we received yesterday had some sort of Wisdom Teeth waiver in it...did not read because Alex had his Wisdom Teeth out 3 years ago....now that's planning! LOL

In reading over the laundry list of things to be completed, it mentions emailing an EPSQ disk. Can't find a reference to this in the Logging In. Is this yet to come in some other mailing? What is it?
