<p>It's not bad, but it depends on what you are comparing it to. I haven't seen found any stats on med school acceptance rates, not sure if they keep them. Their biology department is pretty strong; in anatomy and physiology they let you work on a cadaver as an undergraduate. The girl who gave us a tour was accepted to 8 or more medical schools that she applied to. So, it largely depends on the student.</p>
<p>UO likes OOS students because they pay OOS tuition, as long as they have decent GPA and SAT scores. Check the admission web site for the stats.</p>
