Organic Chem sequence

My D would appreciate some help on which OC class to take. She's a sop transfer and is working on her premed requirements. Last spring she took first semester OC plus lab at her old school. Yale seems to have may options and she's not sure which one to take to complete the sequence:

Chem 125b, Freshman OC II + lab (is this really only for Fr, or does that just indicate the intro level of OC?)

Chem 221b, The OC of Life Processes + lab

Chem 227a, Comprehensive OC II + lab

Any help would be appreciated, she can of course get clarification when she gets to campus and talks with an advisor, but since this is a class she is definitely going to take, it would be helpful to know what time it is so that she can work on the rest of her schedule.

Thanks! EM

Freshman orgo is only for freshmen.

I believe 221 and 227 are slightly different classes, but the only significant difference is when they're offered. 221 is the second semester of the orgo sequence starting in the fall (ie, 221 is a spring class), and 227 is the second semester of the sequence that starts in the spring (ie, it's offered in the fall). The two are equivalent and both satisfy the pre-med requirements.

Thanks kwijiborjt! Looks like 227 will work for her since she'd like to finish orgo ASAP.
