Does anyone know if UM accepts organic chemistry from another institution if we're transferring? I wanted to take organic 1 and 2 over the summer before I go there, but I just want to make sure they accept it and won't make me retake it.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Given that you’re transferring as a Junior, first of all be sure that it’s not among your last credits that they allow you to have from another institution. I think it’s 60 or 45 of your final credits you must take at UM. Besides that, for consultation about a specific institution’s courses and whether they transfer, I’d e-mail the admissions office or an advisor, because it varies by institution. The advising office website is here: [College of Arts and Sciences](<a href=“Advising | College of Arts and Sciences”>Advising | College of Arts and Sciences)

The transfer advisor told me O Chem does not transfer.
