Organization

Do any of you actually use some sort of planner/calendar/organization method for school and notes? I've never really cared that much for organization, mainly because I've never forgotten a homework assignment or lost a worksheet or whatever, but seeing how messy my backpack and notebooks are, I could probably benefit from being a lot more organized. Any insight as to what you do to organize notes and handouts and general school stuff would be awesome! (Anything but binders.)

One folder general handouts. A note book for notes in each class. A folder for the classes that have a lot of handouts BAM. That should do it.

I use a huge three-ringed binder with dividers for my notes.

I have a folder for every class, and everything from that class goes in it. When I have some free time, I go through them and throw away the older stuff that I haven’t looked in a while and won’t need for any tests. It works fairly well.

I have another folder filled with blank notebook paper / graph paper and I use it for notes so that they fit in the folder too since I hate writing in spirals.

I used to get huge spiral notebooks and cram everything into there (haha, still worked well) and realized that was dumb to do. Now, I usually have a 3 inch binder for math and tiny binders for the easy subjects. I also keep a homework folder so I don’t have to carry 3/4 binders home everyday.

I have a spiral notebook for each class and one folder where I keep everything. I use Google Calendar to remember when everything is due. I used to get a binder for each subject, and for a while I tried to use one giant 4" binder for everything, but binders are a pain to carry around if you have more than one or two of them.

I use a planner to write down my homework, and I have a 1.5" binder for each subject.

I have a planner for writing down homework and activities each day. I also have a binder for every subject (1 inch for humanities, 2 inches for STEM; 3 inches for AP Chem because chemistry).

I have one binder, two folders for general school stuff, and a planner. I also have a math notebook, a math homework notebook, and one notebook for all my other subjects. (usually just law and anatomy)

Organization? What’s organization?
I have a laptop and a binder. All the notes for classes I can type in go in my laptop and all the notes for classes I can’t type in go in my binder. (I don’t even use dividers anymore…) Any random handouts are (occasionally) holepunched. The ones for classes with notes that I keep in my binder are jammed in that section. The ones for classes with notes I type are jammed either in the front of the binder or somewhere in my backpack.
I usually tend to find stuff so I consider it works okay.

I use a homework folder. Homework due the next day goes into the right pocket, long-term homework due sometime later goes in the left pocket. I just put my homework in there and forget about it. When I am at my locker at the end of the day I look through my homework folder to see what I need to bring home. It makes it nearly impossible to forget about homework.
