Orgo!

Can anyone please link me to good review sites for organic chem, which explain and teach things very simply?...like a site that could even help someone who has never touched an orgo book get an A in the course. Specifically, anywhere which would help me with SN1 & SN2 reactions, alkenes, alcohols, and alkynes and their reactions.

or can any of you geniuses e-tutor me? ;)

"help someone who has never touched an orgo book get an A in the course"

hmmmmm seems unlikely.

hmmmmmmmmm....read what Will Hunting read?

yea you'll need to read the book and memorize a ton of stuff. there's no magical spell that will make you a master of orgo. its dry, boring, and hard. read the text.

I didn't mean to imply that I've never read my book, I'm just looking for a site that would help someone even if they had no book. Getting an A without reading a book I suppose would be wishful thinking...

I used this site quite a bit for p-chem. Hopefully it will be as helpful for organic.

Hey mollie. Thanks for that site! I'm taking inorgo next semester and pchem next fall for my PhD minor. It also has a good refresher for a few mineralogy terms that will be helpful. Bookmarked!

I say just do as many practice problems as humanly possible. Find them online and everywhere. SN1s and 2s are a real pain though, the rest of the reactions are nice, minus stupid stereoisomer reactions, always gotta watch out for those suckers.

every time i see this i think it's a thread about orgies and open it...
