<p>Does anyone know when the orientation date for the summer is?</p>
<p>There will be several orientations, 8 if I recall, beginning in early June all the way through the week before classes start. Info will be out around the time the regular decision round is announced.</p>
<p>Do we get to choose our orientation date or will we be assigned one?</p>
<p>You choose your own orientation dates unless you are an international student. For international students, it is the last orientation before classes start.</p>
<p>International students can choose, too. I’m an international student and I went to the first session. They have an info session for international students during the last orientation where they just tell you about your visas and legal status etc. It’s supposed to be mandatory, but I didn’t go and I never felt like I missed much. Friends who went told me it was a waste of time.</p>
<p>Try to go earlier if possible…in the later sessions the classes start to fill. We stayed an extra night and got a checking account and looked around Boston…the price is right! and be SURE to sign up for FYSOP …great way to make friends and serve the community. apps usually open in June and close pretty quickly.</p>
