<p>This is a thread for everyone who applied for their orientation for Freshman Fall 2011.</p>
<p>I applied for June 13-14, and additionally will be sleeping in the dorms those 2 nights.
I am just waiting for a confirmation email.</p>

<p>Are there any transfer students who are entering Summer 2011 and are doing the Transfer Orientation soon?</p>
<p>My son will be attending an orientation session this summer for Fall 2011. Do you know if it really important to pick an earlier date for orientation to get a better choice of classes in the fall or does it not make a difference? Thanks</p>
<p>I think its better to get an earlier session because of the fact that classes are based on availability, first come first serve basis</p>

<p>They only open up a certain number of spots for the classes that most freshman will sign up for at each orientation session so that everyone gets a chance to sign up for the classes, so it doesn’t really matter which orientation date you choose.</p>
<p>I will be attending the June 9th-10th orientation (for Burnett Honors students)</p>
<p>Question - is the Honors orientation any different than the regular orientation? Will there be less students there?</p>
<p>I’ll be at the honors college orientation on June 9 and 10. Is everyone having their parents come? Mine are coming.</p>
<p>My mom is coming, she wasn’t really planning on going to the parent orientation but decided she will be because she thought she was going to be bored all day just at the hotel, lol.</p>
<p>yeah i wasn’t going to have my mom and stepdad come, mainly cuz we didn’t want to pay the extra for the parent’s orientation, but we figured it would be best for them to hear some info too… Ciaraxo, are you going to be at the honors orientation?</p>

<p>My friend went to UCF and did a later orientation and it hurt her a lot in the class selection process. Do as early as possible!</p>
