Orientation/Roommate Questions

<p>Hi, I haven't posted here in awhile, but orientations coming up for me and I would just like to know what to expect. I know that the orientation guide kind of tells me this, but I just want to know more details. And how hot is it there this time of year? Weather websites tell me that the highest is in the 80s, but I just want to make sure so I bring the correct clothes.</p>

<p>One more question! How does UB contact you about what dorm you're living in and who your roommate is?</p>

<p>Check your UB acct, my DD found her room assignment & roommate info listed there tonight. She has orientation Th & F this week.</p>

<p>Right now it’s very hot…suggest you bring a small fan to plug into your dorm room, plus the rooms last year had the weird “closed up” smell.</p>

<p>@ coskat - Where exactly is the room assignment and roommate info listed? I’m looking everywhere on my account and I don’t see it. I also have orientation this Thursday and Friday! I can’t wait!</p>

<p>The weather is hot. Extremely hot. And going to be hotter tomorrow.</p>

<p>It’s about 88 right now, tomorrow’s supposed to be 91. And it’s sunny.</p>

<p>Bring cool clothes and a fan for at night. I don’t believe the windows have been opened in the rooms in a long time. And the nights haven’t been out of the 70’s…so I can’t say that opening the windows will even help a lot.</p>

<p>Have fun at orientation - I’ll be representing a club at the club fair.</p>
