I need to attend the august 31-sept2 orientation but when i went to sign up for it, the site wouldn’t let me choose that option. the other sessions have a thing that you can check but not the august 31 orientation. it won’t let me choose that as an option! what should i do? its the only orientation i can make…

That’s weird, call them? I’m hoping to be attending that one too, since transfers can only choose from 2 sessions… If you go to that one, do you know if you just move in early? Otherwise, being in orientation for 2 days, then going home for and not moving in until 2 days after that just doesn’t make sense to me… especially for far away/ international kids.

Shoot… just realized it might mean that that session is already full. That wouldn’t be good…

Come to find out, I was completely having the same problems with my online form. I called, and they actually handled my registration for me, so maybe you should give that a shot? There’s still space in the last session, I was able to sign up.

Remember that you also sign up for classes during orientation, so by choosing the last session you are also choosing the last class registration date.

Not necessarily. This was asked at the accepted student day and we were told that blocks of seats in each class are held open for each orientation, so that being blocked out of a class is not an issue at all. Specifically, some students can only get to the later orientations, so they are not penalized by having fewer class options.
