Orientation?

There used to be a link in Bronco Direct to sign up for orientation. When I clicked on it, it said something like “ineligible to register for orientation . . .” The orientation link is gone now.

My questions are:

Do all orientations occur during the summer?
Do students register for their classes during orientation?
Would it be wiser, for that reason, to choose an earlier orientation rather than a later one to ensure getting the classes you want?

I plan to find out more about the 4 year pledge, too, since my son didn’t get in to KHC and won’t have priority registration.

Orientations are offered during summer…don’t worry they’ll let you know when you can register for orientation. Dates for orientation (a two day process, future students spend the night in the dorms) are available specific to your students’ chosen majors. Parents are asked to attend to first day. Students do register during orientation. The university sets aside a certain number of available seats in classes for each orientation session so that the early orientation attendees don’t have an advantage over the later ones.

Thanks for the information!
