Osama or Tressel?

Losers!!!

Wow - can you believe 5k is a parent?

If he is from Ohio I can believe it.

^don’t rip on Ohio…

the funniest part is that Terrell Pryor drove to the team meeting in the Nissan 350Z that the NCAA is investigating, while on a suspended license!! Either he’s the dumbest football player of all time (which is saying alot these days), or he’s already packed his bags and is prepared to leave.

With the first pick in the sixth round of the 2011 Supplemental Draft, the Carolina Panthers select Terrelle Pryor.

Stay classy Michigan. Just because OSU lost Tressel doesn’t mean UM has the talent to beat Ohio State. Sure this levels the playing field a little bit and will allow an opportunity for UM to catch up but it’s not like OSU will turn into SMU. Worse case scenario is OSU gets what USC got last year. And USC appears to be weathering the storm okay for now, finishing in the top-5 in recruiting last year (per Rivals) and are doing ok this year. Now they have to ride out the scholarship ban, but it is not like they are falling apart. OSU also has an advantage with no in-state competitor to suck talent away. But of course UM, ND and PSU will be knocking.

It will be interesting. Personally I don’t think they will be hit quite as hard as USC, but the NCAA isn’t exactly the most consistent governing body (see $cam Newton at Auburn). Still, I’d expect a 1 year bowl ban and a scholarship reduction for 1-2 years. Plus forfeiting last year is also likely.

So Tressel will only be 8-1* versus Michigan, good job guys.

And OSU will be 0-9 vs the SEC again… lulz

I think they will get hit harder than USC. The problems at OSU are more widespread than USC, plus we are learning more and more every week.

They won’t get hit as hard as SMU though. They may be rigging raffles, lying to the NCAA, and giving players cars, but they never paid recruits in an attempt to get them to go there.

The NCAA could find no proof of Auburn knowing Newton got money. I mean, we all know he did and the whole “his father took it and he didn’t know” excuse can only last so long. They are still looking into it and once they have something concrete, then the NCAA can lay down the hammer.

OSU won’t fall that much this year (of course that is depending on a lot of things like Pryor returning, play of the freshman QB, how the new coach goes, etc.), but it will be in the coming years that OSU will feel the pain. Loss of scholarships, loss of the iconic coach, and a general feeling of ill will towards OSU will cause a lot of athletes not to attend there. This will hurt them depth wise over the upcoming years (which used to be their strength).

OSU couldn’t beat the SEC, so they tried to join them. Join them by doing the one thing the SEC is known for, bending/breaking the rules

"OSU couldn’t beat the SEC, so they tried to join them. Join them by doing the one thing the SEC is known for, bending/breaking the rules "

Let’s also remember they couldn’t beat Michigan either for the 10 years or so prior to hiring Tressel.

Tone it own people. OSU is our greatest rival and worthy of respect. We should hate losing to them, but we should not hate them. Thanks to OSU, Michigan is part of the greatest rivalry in all of college sports.

I don’t hate OSU. I do have serious problems with Trerelle “21st Century Chris Webber” Pryor, Sweater “I was just doing what was best for the kids” Vest, the scarlet and gray Ed Martins and all those involved in the scandal and the cover up. These people took an honorable rival and covered it with slime.

For the good of college football, OSU should have a fate no less damaging than the one suffered by the U-M basketball program and Pryor and Tressel should be as welcome at OSU as Webber is at U-M.

Hopefully, a Brady Hoke inspired U-M and a reconstituted OSU can form a rivalry with the spirit, integrity, excitement and balance that made the 10 year war the most memorable era of the greatest rivalry in college football.

Could have been us Wolverines if we hadn’t gotten rid of RichRod quickly enough. Looking forward to the Brady Hoke years! Perfect timing for the OSU cheater to be exposed and deposed. Hail!
