<p>So at my school there is no "pre OT," so you don't have to major in something to enter the OT major. Basically after 2 years of general classes you start on your OT classes. It's a 5-year program to get your Master's. I was thinking about working in pediatric OT after I graduate, and I was wondering if minoring in Special Education would be a good idea since they are also working with children with disabilities.</p>
<p>That would be a sensible choice. You could also look into psychology, linguistics, child development, education (general), physiology, kinesiology (movement), disability studies, deaf studies, music, art.</p>
