As a junior I think Cornell is my #1 school and am probally applying ED for Arts and sciences, which I know its extremely selected (if anyone knows the exact stats posting it would be great) so i want to know if I'm in the ballpark here.

*If those who were accepted/ denied / waitlisted this year would post what colleges you applied and if you were accepted/ denied / WL.
Also, why you are going attend/not going to attend Cornell. Thanks in advance! *

Accepted at Cornell engineering regular decision

waitlisted at princeton
accepted at a bunch of places
no rejects

not attending cornell because it is too isolated and too large of a student body for me. also gave bad financial aid compared to other colleges (need-based). great food though.

Admitted - Notre Dame, Michigan, Case Western Reserve, Cornell

I decided to apply to Cornell ED, so when I was admitted to cornell I was still awaiting decisions from MIT and Berkeley. I withdrew those applications and sent my deposit to cornell.

Rejected - None, but only because I withdrew from MIT/Berk, I'm sure at lest one fo those two would have rejected me :(

decided to apply to cornell ED because CU combines top notch engineering w/ liberal arts/business well and has incredible student support services

^ I probably wouldn't go with this approach though. Just apply to schools you think you would be happy at and that you think you can get into. Don't base your decision on where everyone else was accepted/denied.

DangerMouse,
I'm just curious, but do you actually know who Danger Mouse is (because that would be slightly odd for a Mom) or did you just choose the name randomly?

I got into a few schools but the most notable one's were Cornell and Dartmouth. But I ended up choosing Cornell over Dartmouth because Cornell offered a great financial package that I couldn't refuse.

I was accepted at Cornell (AAP), FIU, UMiami, and Universidad de Navarra (Spain)... Rejected at McGill, MIT, and Yale. I had to face a really tough choice... the University of Navarra has one of the highest-rated architecture programs in Europe, but I decided to go to Cornell because I feel that the academic program is a bit more well-rounded and the student body is more active...
