OU Honors App - How does a student get/have/know his email address?

DS has his honors app essay ready for OU, but said he needs his OU email address for the application. He tried to find it among his correspondence, email, and through his Sooner Connection. I also looked, in case he was somehow missing it, but I can’t find anything either. He did email his rep, but the office is closed until Jan 5. It’s not a big deal, though I’d like him to wrap up as much as possible before school resumes.

If your DC applied to the Honors program, how did he/she know his OU email address? DS has been accepted already, so he has a Sooner Connection account, Sooner ID, etc.

Has he set up an OU account (not the Sooner Connection)? It’s at ozone.ou.edu. I think that by setting that up, he will be assigned an OU email address. If he has already done that, he can log onto ozone.ou.edu with his OUnetID and the password he set up, then click “Update E-mail Addresses” on the lower right of the home page to see what his preferred OU email is.

The OUNetID is the last four letters of his last name + last four digits of SoonerID (without the + sign)
