A workaround is to click on an old reply in the forum you’re looking for, then you will see where the thread is located.

I went back to the home page and clicked on “majors.” I guess I can do that. The home page looks the same. I actually like the white space. We can all give it time.
If the goal was to run off the parents and oldtimers, it seems to be succeeding!

Yes, but the “upload new picture” does not seem to be in the update. I hope that’s a glitch that will be resolved. @NJres
I used to whitelist cc in my adblocker, but not anymore!!!
The layout is even worse on mobile, since the user info/ like buttons both take up multiple lines of space. I’m lucky if i can see one whole post on the screen
The video at the top of the screen is really annoying and distracting. The thin font is really hard to read and a strain on the eyes.
Hate it. I want to be able to go to the most recent update, not the most recent user which requires that I log in. Like others, I needed a reason to get off this site; guess I got it.
I haven’t been here for 12 years to just walk away. Posters are the livelihood of this site.
Admin, how about some feedback and what we can expect? Are you going to review these comments for a couple of days and consider changes? Or is it “like it or leave”? Are you trialing some features?
If we are partners in the livelihood of this site - you running it, us providing the content - give us some feedback on what we can expect over the next couple days or weeks.
I’d rather not see the community many of us have established walk away.

LOL, I love that the site thinks that @binx is one of the most active posters (under “Activity”) since, although she’s logged in, I don’t think she’s posted since 2013 (unless she posted about her daughter’s recent wedding! Congrats, @binx!!!)
I have a big phone. The font is too big that only like a few lines shows up. The old system had a better layout. Can we use the new graphics but same layout.
@CottonTales , I would venture to say that the vast majority of people commenting on this particular thread are the very people who make CC the place it is—a place to get helpful information. This new redesign is absolutely not user friendly to the people who provide the most help. In a nutshell, middle aged people who don’t have the greatest eyesight perhaps, but who have the most knowledge to help others. We’re the people this site needs, and we are the people this site has just basically given a big fat screw you to. Honestly, I’m soooo annoyed with the lack of thought that went into this redesign.
@MaineLonghorn , I don’t know what number “college life” is, but how will anyone even know it’s there anymore? Before, you saw all the forums and sub forums on the forum home page. Now, you would have to do a lot of investigative clicking to see if there was a forum where you could post a question. I am totally confused about the difference between the left-side topics and the right-side topics. I cannot understand them. Of course, I know you and the other mods have no say in any of this redesign.
I agree that “most active” is a terribly off-putting distinction that no one wants. It serves NO purpose and is going to turn off a LOT of people who spend time on CC trying to help others. Isn’t @Dave_Berry the founder? Dave, if nothing else, PLEASE get rid of that feature!
This new design is making my head have a headache.
I don’t see any ads (and I don’t have an ad blocker installed as far as I know). What’s that about? I mean no ads at all. That can’t be intentional.
I’m wondering why some posts appear in a giant font and others appear in a normal font and why the double spacing? The normal font is much easier to read.
I really don’t want to know who’s the most active poster or the most liked or agreed with, etc. That’s just dumb.
