<p>I'm not, but I know others that are. It's mainly because in Florida there is the scholarship foundation called Bright Futures that allows anyone with above 1270 (old SAT scale) to go to any state school for free (tuition only, you still have to pay for room and board and other things). Of course this isn't the only requirement (a 3.5 GPA and 75 hours of volunteering experience are also required), but many kids take the SATs again in senior year to qualify for this award.</p>
